Now I need to see if this will run on my Windows 8 tablet. After Tower's $25 off code, the total came out to less than $130. I bought the Interlink Elite edition because I'd rather not be plugging stuff into my radio and using your own transmitter seems to more of a pain than having a dedicated controller. Planes fly very closely to the real model. I guess I need to fiddle with the physics a bit. My only gripe is that the multicopters are too easy. I'm having a ball with planes similar to what I fly. I fixed it before I left the field with a bit of CA, but decided to not push my luck and spent the rest of the day flying the sim. I crashed my EPP 3D plane this morning in a gust of wind. I'm on a Mac, so my choices seemed limited, but RF is working fine under vmWare Fusion 6. I've tried Phoenix and Aerofly, but bought RealFlight 7.5 a few days ago. Still, I am honing my skills with quads using it, so I guess I'm getting my money's worth by not crashing hardware learning that way. Surely any games that I play on my PC blow away this emulator by a very large margin. I've got a pretty beefy PC with a high end graphics card and I'm not sure the program even uses it. ![]() Not sure about the other products, but I bought Phoenix RC 5 and I have to admit that the graphics are so "1980"s.
